Schilling reveals past run-in with Manny

Curt Schilling today revealed details of a physical confrontation he had with Manny Ramirez in 2005.

In an interview on Boston sports radio station WEEI this morning, Schilling described the incident, in which he and Ramirez "had to be broken up" after Ramirez allegedly turned sour over a comment Schilling made about Ramirez sitting out a game against the Devil Rays.

Here's how Schilling described it, in his own words:

"We were in Tampa a couple of years back and it was the night Trot [Nixon] got hurt and we had an off day the next day and Manny was scheduled to have the day off that night, and Trot couldn't play.

マニー、オルティス、シリング、スタッフがクラブハウスにいて、レイズ（当時デビルレイズ）のSeth McClungがサイヤング投手のように好投していた。
外野手のニクソンが怪我をしていてなおかつ翌日が試合が休みだったのにマニーはその夜休暇を取っていた。
それでカートが嫌味を言ったことでマニーを怒らせた、というだいたい周囲が知ってたような内容。。。
